Who's ready to save some money?!
We've got a brand new podcast episode out that will tell you all about it!
Hey friends!
I hope you are having a great week and are ready for a fun weekend with your family! We just started the #Last90Days Challenge over here, and we’re working on establishing some habits to finish out 2021 strong! We’ll definitely be ready for 2022 if we can keep this going! I wanna know… have you started your Christmas shopping yet?? I’m getting real excited about Christmas over here, but also trying not to rush through Fall too much because I also love that. Let me know what I can help you with! I absolutely love to help you organize and plan more purpose into your life. You guys make this little gig so much fun!
This past week I had my friend, Ashley, over to record a podcast episode with me. She’s the one who told me that they spend just $500/month on groceries, and I had to pick my jaw up off the floor. I asked in my social media stories if you guys would be interested in hearing from her on the podcast, and it was unanimous! So, we did that last week, and she had SO MANY good nuggets of knowledge and ways to save money to share with us. We talked meal planning, grocery shopping, saving money on kids’ clothes, budgeting, becoming debt free, and SO MANY OTHER THINGS! You will not want to miss this episode!
**I’ve sent this month’s Menu Plan & all of my Meal Planning Templates to all of my community at the Purposeful Planners level in Patreon, so if you are a member there, be sure to check your email today for that little Subscriber / Member freebie this month! If you’re not a member there, but you’d like to be, you can join us here. You’ll get access to all previous posts and freebies. I sent out monthly Planner Packs when I was in the creation process for those, so do some digging, and you can find all of those Free Printables in the archives.
I don’t know about you, but I just always love to see what other people are doing. I am a people-watcher FOR SURE, and it’ one of the reasons that I love social media. I wanna know how everyone is decorating, organizing, celebrating holidays, dressing, etc. Literally, all the things! Although with So Many Influencers overtaking the socials now, it gets tricky to know what’s real, and what’s just a sponsorship or and ad. Well, hey! I’m a real person, and I share things just for the fun of it — no paid partnerships at this time. Lol. I do post affiliate links, and that will give me a teeny tiny percentage of compensation, at no extra cost to you… but I only share products that I use and love.
So here’s a new, fun feature called What’s in the Mail where I’m literally going to share with you things I’ve ordered and received recently… just for fun! Here goes!
1.We decided we were ordering iced coffees out too much, so we ordered some more Nespresso to have at home, and we got these to try iced… Nespresso Iced Forte Capsules. Honestly, we like them both hot and iced! If you haven’t tried Nespresso yet, you’re missing out. The at-home lattes are legit!
2.I got a little itch to make a "Fall-themed / Pumpkin Sensory Bin” for the littles to play with and explore so I ordered these Mixed 10 Mini Bamboo Wicker Holder Baskets and Garbanzo Beans, which I’m going to dye orange like mini little pumpkins. I’m still waiting on the garbanzo beans to arrive, and then I’ll have to dye them and then add the Pumpkin Pie Spice to add to the sensory aspect of this project. Honestly, after linking this for you guys, I’m feeling sort of silly so I’m hoping it turns out adorable and my kids love it to make up for that. Haha! This is why I got a new job… so that I don’t feel the need to do unnecessary projects like this!
3.I set up my favorite protein powder on Subscribe & Save when it was on sale. The vanilla is a good option because you can mix it with fruity flavors OR you can easily add chocolate or peanut butter for another option. Vanilla is definitely a little more versatile when it comes to flavor options.
4. I ordered a few things for the kids’ mini kitchen: Amazing Child Mini Glass Pitcher, 4 Pieces Spreader Knife Set, Full Circle Bubble Up Ceramic Soap Dispenser & Bamboo Dish Brush. We are LOVING the mini kitchen! We still use it every day, and I love that it’s giving the kids independence with preparing their own snacks and washing their own little dishes that they use. Lyndon is even able to make his own chocolate milk all on his own at age two because he has a space and tools that are perfectly sized for him. It’s so fun to watch!
I also ordered a few things for their kitchen to put up for Christmas, but I won’t share those things just yet. I’m definitely getting started on those wish lists though!
