"What He initiates, He also Sustains & Fulfills..."
I’ve had such an exciting couple of weeks, you guys, and I just wanted to share some of that with you. I’ve just been kind of overwhelmed with gratefulness at how God is bringing some things together for me. I’ve seen His provision, fulfillment of prophecy in my own life, and I’ve been able to begin using some of the things He’s gifted me with.
I am SO BUSY right now, but also just so FULL. I actually don’t like the word busy so much… it makes it seem like just stuff we’ve gotta do… Instead, full means that we’re filling our time with things that are meaningful and truly fulfilling to us. That’s where I am finding myself.
I do feel like I am living my life to the fullest right now, and I know some of that comes from a shift in perspective for me as well.
A quote that has really stuck out to me from my book this week is…
”What He (meaning, God) initiates, He also sustains and fulfills… because what He establishes, is done in strength.”
Sometimes it’s hard to see what God is doing with something… maybe why it’s not working or why it hasn’t happened yet. I have questions about some of these things, myself. I wonder why we took the time to endure those things… Sometimes difficult (or even well-intentioned) things may seem like a waste of time when we don’t see it come to pass, when it feels like a failure, or if we just don’t understand it all.
Here’s your gentle reminder that He loves us… we can trust Him. He knows what He’s doing. If He initiates it, He is going to sustain it. He’ll sustain us through it. He’ll fulfill it, fulfill us in the process. And it WILL BE established. All in His timing. He knows what He’s doing… even if we don’t.
I am thanking God for this new vision that He’s given me and rocking my socks off with the success I’ve seen pretty much immediately from it… which is “Plan my Purposeful Place”… where I’m now offering Planning, Design, and Home Organization Services!
I’m really excited about this, because I absolutely LOVE to organize! It’s something I’m really passionate about, but I’ve always just thought “Well anyone could do this…”. I’m learning that some people are just really busy and really don’t have the time, some just don’t know where to start, and some just don’t want to do it and would rather hire someone to do it for them. All of those are completely okay, and that’s where I come in. I just recently figured out a way that I can make this work and be able to help people with this, and when they say things like “That looks great! Now, come do my house…” Now, I actually can!
I’m just so excited because I’m getting to do something that I’m passionate about, and it’s a way that I can be able to help others as well. I love seeing a finished space or finished product. I love taking some stress and overwhelm away from my clients where they feel like they can breathe again. The whole thing brings me a lot of joy, and it’s worth the hard work it takes for me to bring a project to completion.

**I will be coming to Louisville, MS for a project on February 20th, and I am available there or in close surrounding areas for one more in-home consult. I’d love to make the most use of my time there by helping someone else while I’m there as well. You can simply reply to this email if you live near there and you’d like more information about this.
Habits I’m Tracking & Working On This Week…
Daily Protein Shake
This is one of my Nutrition “Action-Based Goals”. I like to add my vitamins to my shake. This is the easiest way for me to get them in.
Meds
I am actually weaning off of my anxiety meds with the help of my doctor, so I’m
having to keep track of which days I take it now.
Progessence Plus
This is an essential oil blend that helps with hormonal support. As with most supplements and things we take, we don’t always notice a difference when we “start” taking them, but we notice what a huge difference they made if we “stop” taking them. I feel like this is one of the things that really helped my skin actually. My skin really cleared up, and I wasn’t having near as much acne. I noticed that I was having flare-ups again, and realized I hadn’t been taking it so I am trying to be more purposeful with taking it again.
Skincare
I’m, honestly, not so great at keeping up with skincare and washing my face… which is probably also another reason my skin isn’t always clear. I’m just a little lazy in this area, honestly, so I want to track it to encourage myself to do it.
Brushing my Hair Every Evening
I follow Jasmine Rae on Instagram, and I’ve been trying her methods from her 20 Day Wash Cycle. I’ve learned how to adequately brush my hair to stimulate the follicles, how to care for it post-workout, and how to keep it clean between washes.Begin reading and note-taking through a book I got for Christmas, Switch on Your Brain by Dr. Caroline Leaf.
Continue reading through my Bible reading plan.
I’m using The Bible Recap’s chronological reading plan from Year 2. I started this plan at the beginning of 2020, and I took time off from it to study other applicable things throughout the year like the studies I did on Fear and Anxiety. I keep coming back to it in between, though, and every time I just do the next day’s reading and podcast episode and keep chugging along. Some would consider me to be “behind” on the reading plan, and that may be true, but I still find that God’s Word is so very timely to what I need each and every time I read and study it. I’ve outlined the days that I want to complete over the next few months before I begin Bible Roadtrip Year 2 (Job through Malachai) with my children for homeschool. I’m hoping that we can read and study together, and I’ll be able to incorporate The Bible Recap episodes as a great supplement for our studies. I’m excited to get back to the Bible Roadtrip with them soon though, because I feel like teaching them HOW to study God’s Word is SUCH a vital skill to learn… and it will be very beneficial to them, even at such a young age. The Bible Roadtrip is very age-appropriate (From Preschool all the way to High School or Adult), but it teaches Bible Study skills, and I can’t rave about it enough!Focus on keeping the counters clear this week and the laundry “nearly-caught up”. ;-)
Continue to work on clearing my digital phone clutter. (Pictures, Videos, Notes, Contacts, Apps, etc.) Oh man… this one is HARD with my new business. I’m decluttering for my clients, but piling on the digital clutter for myself as I take pics throughout the process and use my phone to make mood design boards for them. I’d like to think about a good system for deleting old photos each week or month as I’m able to keep this under control.
Get 2020 taxes together and submitted.
Date Night This Weekend… with all of the rest of the world.
However, we’ve actually got reservations for a special, very unique type of date night this time. We pretty much go out to eat for every single one of our dates. What can we say - we like to eat?! This is how our relationship started so it just makes sense. Ha! We did have those two date night exceptions though - the time we made pottery and the time we got our tattoos together. So this one will be something “different” as well, and I’ll share the details with you next week.Get ready for the first Small Group Meeting of the year this weekend.
