Hey, sweet friends!
We’re one week into this new year now. I sure hope you’re off to a great start, but even if not - it’s never too late! One thing I’ve noticed in my own life is that I do much better when my intentions and goals when I share them with you guys from week to week or at least monthly. It holds me accountable in a sense, so I’m going to attempt to do that again this year in some form or another.
Another thing that I KNOW is good for me as well is to celebrate the wins, big and small. Especially since experiencing depression and anxiety in my own life, I know that these things are just so, so important. When I was battling depression, I just felt so stuck and unmotivated. Doing even just one positive and productive thing in my day and writing that thing down helped me to make forward motion and progress. It helped me to fight my way out of that depressed state. And with anxiety - it’s so easy to feel like we aren’t doing enough or are failing at all the things we are doing… and that is just so NOT the Case! We’ve got to focus on and celebrate our wins, so I’m going to attempt to do that as well. Instead of a To-Do List, it’s going to be a Ta-Da! List of the things I’ve accomplished. And let me tell you - I would REALLY LOVE for you to get in on doing this too! I’d love for you to share your wins or Ta-Da’s here on these posts or on the ones I will be posting on social media. I’d love to share and celebrate YOUR wins with you!
So here’s our newest email feature… (and don’t laugh because some of them will be really small things, but I’m celebrating anything and everything I can here!)
I’ve made my bed 5 times this year. I’ve also tidied up my room and bathroom, made myself presentable 5 days as well.
I put dishes away and tidied the rooms downstairs even more than that!
I tried kidney, heart, & liver organ meats this week. (Heart is the only one we were fans of.)
I sent off a blood and saliva sample this week for my Metabolism testing kit.
I took my medicine every day this week!
I’ve checked my planner and done a morning brain dump every day so far.
I’ve been gluten-free every day except one. (I really had a craving for Tabella’s pizza, and it’s not gluten-free.)
I’ve kept up with my personal Bible reading plan this year so far.
I’ve met my reading goals this week.
I got my hair cut and colored this week.
I printed Linkin’s course book for his next level of Language Arts
I kept up with my One Question a Day journal this week.
I kept track of all of my spending this week and stayed within our written budget.
I worked out once this week!
I organized a few drawers in my dresser, & I rearranged and cleaned up the master bedroom.
I cleaned up and organized the sunroom / laundry room.

I finished building a shelf with Lawson and moved it to the school room.
